AiLive (www.AiLive.net) is a California-based company best known for
its LiveMove motion control products, and the Wii Motion Plus that
AiLive helped create and design. LiveMove, the industry standard
for Motion recognition and Motion Tracking, allows developers to go
from conception to testing actual motion recognizers in less than 5
minutes, without scripting or coding.
AiLive is looking for a highly talented individual to join a small
team dedicated to creating the future of motion control and AI in
games. The successful candidate will demonstrate mastery of C++, be
passionate about best sofware engineering practices, and have
significant product development experience in all stages of the
product development cycle. Experience with mobile applications and
platforms is a requirement.
The job entails:
- - Taking a software engineering leadership role in the company;
- - Championing software engineering best practices;
- - Extending and managing a software architecture and infrastructure
for the development and testing of high performance low footprint
cross platform products;
- - Designing, developing and deploying new products from internal
technologies to application developers around the world.
To be considered, you must have the following qualifications:
- - Excellent coding, organizational and communication skills;
- - Strong interest in the computer games industry;
- - BS or higher degree in computer science or a related field;
- - 5+ years of experience in a production setting;
- - Substantive development experience on mobile platforms;
- - Demonstrable mastery of C++/C, excellent working knowledge of Java.

AiLive (www.AiLive.net) is a California-based company developing LiveAI,
a unique new approach to game AI that models player behavior in real-time
as a game is played. AiLive is best known for its LiveMove motion control
products, and the Wii Motion Plus that we helped design and create.
We are looking for a highly talented individual to join our core game team,
led by Creative Director Rob Kay, Lead Designer of Guitar Hero(TM) and Rock Band(TM),
developing a flagship console game enabled by the unique capabilities provided by
the LiveAI technology. The successful candidate will be passionate about applying
new technology and methodologies to games and have extraordinary logical and
organizational abilities. Previous experience as a software engineer on a production
game required. A background in machine learning, artificial intelligence, or logic
is a strong advantage.
The job entails:
- - Applying LiveAI behavior capture technology in all phases of game development, from prototype to shipped game;
- - Coordinating with game designers to generate AI code matching desired game play and user experiences;
- - Helping develop tools and best practices for managing AI assets within a large production game setting;
- - Assisting development of the LiveAI middleware in order to maximize its accessibility and ease of use within a game development setting.
To be considered, you must have the following qualifications:
- - Excellent learning, organizational and coding skills;
- - 2+ years of experience in a production setting within the computer games industry;
- - A history of initiative in applying new technologies or methodologies in past positions;
- - BS or higher degree in computer science or a related field;
- - Demonstrable competency in C++.
